Fishing Week: February – March 31, 2011

Our private chauffeur will meet you at the San Jose International Airport and drive you down the coffee covered mountains to the Central Pacific coastal community of Manuel Antonio, Quepos. During the ride you´ll have the opportunity to relax with cold beverages and snacks coordinated by our Executive Chef. Upon arrival to La Reserva you will be welcomed to your luxury home where you may relax poolside, unwind at the bar and barbeque area or remain in the comfort of the A/C while our Executive Chef prepares you a cocktail reception complete with appetizers, a delicious entrée and dessert.

For the rest of the week, you´ll have the opportunity to catch Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Snapper, Grouper, Roosterfish, and Snook off the coast of Quepos. Our Executive Chef will prepare and cook your catches in-home upon your return from fishing at the end of each day. The chef will coordinate with you in advance to ensure all menus and meals, including appetizers, desserts, side dishes and beverages, satisfy your personal preferences and dietary requirements.

According to your wishes, your personal concierge will coordinate additional tour, spa or chef services around your fishing schedule, for the remaining 3 days of your vacation. Choose from activities such as kayaking, rafting, zip lining, sailing, hiking, jet skiing, rappelling, snorkeling, diving, horseback riding or ATV tours. Alternatively, you may break up the fishing days if you do not wish all four to run consecutively. A sample itinerary is as follows:

Day 1: Arrive at La Reserva. Relax and make yourself at home after a day of travelling, as your Executive Chef prepares and serves appetizers, dinner, and dessert of your choosing.

Day 2 – Day 5:
Fishing, catch of the day cooked for dinner by your own Executive Chef. Choose from a menu of appetizers, side dishes and desserts to compliment your catch. Enjoy formal in-home dining or relax outside in the BBQ area and pool bar.

Day 6:
Executive Chef prepared breakfast. Take a morning tour of the Manuel Antonio National Park and an afternoon Jet Ski. Return to La Reserva to relax. In the evening, your personal Chef prepares and serves appetizers, dinner, and dessert of your choosing.

Day 7:
Executive Chef prepared breakfast. Take a morning white water rafting tour through one of the refreshing mountain rivers. Challenge Class III & Class IV rapids with your professional river guide. In the evening, your personal Chef prepares and serves appetizers, dinner, and dessert of your choosing.

Day 8:
Check out from La Reserva and return to San Jose International airport.
